Check My Truck: What’s Due?

A missed MCS-150 can deactivate your USDOT number, and a missed Clean Truck Check can put a hold on your registration. Run a free truck compliance check: see your MCS-150 due date instantly, then we’ll confirm the rest and text you.

Step 1: Your MCS-150 due date

Your due date is built into your USDOT number. FMCSA uses the last digit for the month and the second-to-last digit for odd or even years.

Step 2: Everything else we check

  • Clean Truck Check deadline. CARB sets it per truck in your CTC-VIS account. We’ll help you confirm it and test up to 90 days early.
  • DMV registration and holds. We look at what’s blocking a renewal before it costs you a day.
  • Form 2290 and Schedule 1. We make sure your proof of payment is ready for registration.
  • MCS-150 filing. If you’re due or overdue, we can file it for you.

Send Us Your Truck

We’ll look up what’s due and text you, usually within 1 business day. No cost, no obligation.

Optional. Leave blank if you run intrastate without one.
What should we check?

Why a truck compliance check matters

The Deadlines a Free Truck Compliance Check Catches

Most trucks don’t get parked for big violations. Instead, they get parked for a date nobody was watching. That’s why we start every conversation with a quick check.

A deactivated USDOT number

FMCSA says a missed MCS-150 biennial update will deactivate your USDOT number and may bring civil penalties of up to $1,000 per day, up to $10,000.

“Nothing changed” still counts

FMCSA requires the biennial update every two years, even when none of your company information has changed.

A DMV registration hold

CARB says that once a Clean Truck Check registration hold is placed, DMV transactions for that truck are restricted until it is back in compliance.

Test deadlines are doubling

Most heavy-duty trucks test twice a year today. However, starting October 2027, CARB requires OBD-equipped trucks to test four times a year.
