What Holds Up a Commercial DMV Registration
Most commercial DMV registration problems don’t start at the DMV. Instead, they start with a missing test or tax form that the DMV needs first.

CARB says that once a Clean Truck Check registration hold is placed, DMV transactions for that truck are restricted until it is back in compliance. In other words, no renewal until the test is done.
No Schedule 1, no registration
The IRS tells truckers to use the stamped Schedule 1 as proof of payment when registering with the state. So if your truck runs at 55,000 lbs or more, registration stalls without it.
An out-of-state truck in California
A truck coming in from another state needs its VIN verified before California will register it. After that, the smog, tax and registration steps still have to line up.

Are you the DMV?
No. We’re a privately owned, authorized California DMV Business Partner. We process eligible registration transactions through the DMV’s system, but we’re not a government agency.
Can I get same-day stickers and plates?
On most eligible transactions, yes. Some transactions still have to be completed by the DMV directly, and we’ll tell you up front if yours is one of them.
My registration has a hold. Can you help?
Often, yes. Common holds come from a missing Clean Truck Check or Form 2290, and we can handle both in the same visit. We’ll review your notice and tell you what’s needed.
Do you offer DMV registration in Las Vegas?
